Queens Ransom by Count Indigo Summer Yachtpop E.P.
Save the Queen and help Count Indigo make Softdisco history.
Queens Ransom will be a four track E.P. of sunburned Yachtpop, marking the Loungecore legend’s long awaited return to the studio.
Queens Ransom is seeking your support against the backdrop of the Count’s kidnapping of Elizabeth II on the eve of her becoming the longest reigning monarch in these islands on 9th September 2015. Which quite coincidentally, is our final release date for Queens Ransom to the public.
How much will you pay to get her back?
Or will you give, to keep her away permanently? While Queens Ransom takes the legacy of The Pistols in ’77 to a contemporary dancefloor conclusion.
I’m best known for leading the renaissance of easy listening through my club Indigo at Madame JoJo’s where I put on shows by world famous figures such as Burt Bacharach, Tony Bennett and Herb Alpert. As well as discovering great entertainers like The Mike Flowers Pops and Armstrong & Miller.
My first single My Unknown Love is a minor classic of an amnesiac love affair and my album Homme Fatale featured the hypnotic, dystopian single Trinity.
